Cynthia Bailey says the hardest part of divorce is maintaining friendship with her ex

Reality television star Cynthia Bailey decided to divorce her husband, entrepreneur Peter Thomas, when their reality show, cable network Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was on hiatus for the season earlier this year.

According to a report, Bailey said the hardest part of undergoing a divorce is trying to remain civil with an ex-partner. She noted “a divorce is a very difficult thing to go through. It is spiritually and emotionally draining. The hardest part of this process for me has been trying to maintain a friendship and mutual respect for each other. We were friends before we were husband and wife. I just don’t want to lose that.” The divorce is coming after Thomas spent much of his time in Charlotte, North Carolina while she was living in Atlanta, Georgia.

After being married to each other for 13 long years, 42-year-old Hollywood television and film actress Angie Harmon and 43-year-old former cornerback for the National Football League Jason Heath Sehorn announced on November 3 that they have reached an “amicable separation,” BreatheCast reported.

Because of their conflicting work schedules across the country, their relationship was put under strain for a long time. As a family, they lived in North Carolina, but Harmon’s film schedule in L.A. called for her to spend months away from home. This, sources said, contributed heavily to their decision to separate. Sehorn proposed to Harmon in 1998 on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and they married three years later in 2001.

The couple has three children together: 11-year-old Finley, nine-year-old Avery, and five-year-old Emery, who will likely figure in a child custody arrangement.

Former Knicks point guard Raymond Felton to finalize divorce

Thirty-year-old ex-New York Knicks basketball point guard Raymond Felton, who was traded to the Dallas Mavericks late last month, recently put the finishing touches on a divorce agreement with his 26-year-old wife Ariane Raymondo-Felton, the New York Daily News reported on July 3.

The divorce deal was outlined and agreed upon in the Manhattan Supreme Court, but the couple did not make these public, Raymondo-Felton’s lawyer William Beslow said. Although their prenuptial agreement mandated that divorce be undertaken through arbitration in North Carolina, a loophole allowed for a New York divorce if he cheated.

Aside from his divorce, Felton is in the process of finishing his criminal case. He agreed to plead guilty to a low-level felony of attempted possession of a weapon in order to receive no jail time.
