The wife of 49-year-old American novelist, screenwriter, and producer Nicholas Charles Sparks – Cathy Sparks – was reported by entertainment news network TMZ to have moved out of their old home and purchased a new $1.1 million mansion in New Bern, North Carolina in December 2014.
Cathy Sparks’ new residence has 4 acres of lakefront property and is just a couple of miles away from where she used to live with her husband and five children.
TMZ also noted that even though the couple was reportedly separating, plans of the divorce have yet to be divulged by the couple; as a matter of fact, divorce papers have yet to be filed. They have been married for the past 25 years.
