Sarah Stauffer is a dedicated paralegal who combines her professional expertise with a genuine passion for helping others. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she focused her studies on the impact of trauma in child development. Sarah brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her legal work. Sarah strives to make clients feel informed, supported, and cared for during what is often one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. She is committed to building a career that makes a meaningful, positive impact on others. And true to her organized nature, she’s never met a to-do list she didn’t want to color-code.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Sarah moved to North Carolina in 2007 with her husband of nearly 26 years. Together, they have raised two wonderful sons and share their home with three beloved German Shepherds—Luna, Athena, and Bella—who run the household and are firmly convinced they’re lap dogs.

Sarah’s heart for service extends beyond the office. She has volunteered with Southeast German Shepherd Rescue as an adoption coordinator and with Beyond Fences, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and their families through community outreach. A former equestrian, Sarah has always felt a deep connection to animals and continues to support local rescue efforts.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, especially stories of resilience and overcoming trauma, which fuel her belief that healing and growth are always possible. She also loves spending time outdoors and making memories with her family. Above all, Sarah believes one thing wholeheartedly: both people and dogs deserve the chance to land on their feet—and she’s grateful for a career that allows her to play a small role in helping that happen.
