Linda was drawn to family law because it combines thoughtful advocacy with meaningful client relationships. She appreciates that family law requires both strong courtroom advocacy and thoughtful legal analysis while offering the opportunity to guide clients through some of life’s most important decisions. Whether representing a client in litigation or helping them plan for the future, Linda finds the greatest fulfillment in making a tangible difference in her clients’ lives.

Believing that effective representation begins with listening, Linda is committed to understanding each client’s unique circumstances and the goals that matter most to them. She aims to provide practical, straightforward guidance, honest communication, and thoughtful advocacy so clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the legal process.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While at Campbell, she competed on the school’s nationally recognized Mock Trial Team, served as a Research Assistant contributing to a Civil Procedure treatise, and was selected to participate in Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate: School of the Appeal, where she further developed her appellate advocacy skills.

Before joining Marshall & Taylor PLLC, Linda gained valuable experience through internships with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Those opportunities strengthened her courtroom advocacy, legal research, and writing skills while reinforcing the importance of thoughtful preparation and clear communication. Those qualities continue to shape her approach to practicing law.

Originally born in Colorado and raised in North Carolina, Linda is proud to serve the community she has long called home. Outside the office, she enjoys painting, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time outdoors, especially on fishing trips with her boyfriend, where she’s the unofficial supervisor and happily in charge of the tackle box.
